Egyptian international striker, Ramadan Sobhi, said he was very happy to make his debut for Stoke City in a friendly match against Hamburger SV in Germany this past weekend.

Despite having joined the squad only few days ago, the 19-year-old Pharaoh was selected in Stoke City's starting XI and featured for 63 minutes during the Potters’ 1-0 loss against Hamburger at Volksparkstadion before being substituted by Joe Allen.

“I wasn’t expecting to start against Hamburg, but I am very happy to play my first game with my new Club,” Sobhi told Stoke City official website.

“I’ve only been with the Club for two days, so I am still trying to adapt but I will hopefully get to know everybody better in the next few weeks,” he concluded.
