the game was interrupted by referee Clément Turpin 30 seconds after the beggining because of the smoke caused by fumigans lit by Saint-Etienne supporters that invaded half of the field.
Apart from the fact that players couldn't distinguish the opposite lane, the goal-line technology wouldn't be able to work in such conditions.

In the second half of the game, defender Léo Lacroix tackled Nabil Fékir sternly along the sideline. The player got expelled. Which has caused an obvious tension between the teams !

Nabil Fékir scored the 5th goal for Lyon and As a celebration, the striker moved quietly to the opposing stand and withdraws his jersey. He was then joined by several teammates who also challenged the rostrum.

The Celebration did't go as planned and Several Saint Etienne supporters invaded the pitch. The game ended there with 6 minutes left to play after security interfered and took the players out of the pitch.
